Personal Injury Care in Chippewa Falls

A slip on an icy sidewalk. A heavy box lifted the wrong way at work. A tumble off a ladder while cleaning gutters. Personal injuries happen in a second, but the soreness can hang around long after the bruises fade. At Denn Chiropractic, Dr. Jason Denn, D.C., helps injured patients manage pain and work toward moving more comfortably.

Hands-On Care for Work, Slip, and Fall Injuries

After a fall or strain, movement can feel limited, and muscles may tighten around the sore area. You might start moving differently to avoid discomfort (a sore back that leaves your hip feeling cranky, for example). Our chiropractor checks your movement and assesses the injury before recommending care. When suitable, adjustments may help ease pain and improve joint mobility.

Injuries Patients Bring Through Our Doors

Most personal injury patients come in after lifting or twisting injuries, falls on ice, or repetitive work tasks. Common complaints include low back strain, sciatica-type leg pain, shoulder and upper back strain, hip and knee pain after a fall, and wrist pain or tingling that develops during repetitive tasks.

From Early Relief to Rebuilding Strength

Our chiropractor combines adjustments with exercises selected around your injury, comfort, and daily demands. Depending on your exam findings and how you’re progressing, care may include:

  • Adjustments, icing guidance, and gentle stretching to help manage discomfort
  • Active muscle release to address muscle tension
  • Light weights and posture exercises to build strength
  • Physio ball exercises to work on balance and coordination

Take-home exercise sheets help you follow the movements recommended for you between visits.

Help With Workers’ Compensation Paperwork

Wisconsin generally allows injured workers to choose a Wisconsin-licensed treating practitioner, including a chiropractor. Let your employer know about the injury and your choice of provider. Rules apply when changing practitioners. Denn Chiropractic works with workers’ compensation carriers and documents your exam findings, care, and progress.

Meet Dr. Jason Denn, D.C.

Dr. Denn, D.C., has practiced since graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1997. He knows what it’s like to face an injury. As a kid, he broke his leg in seven places falling 40 feet from a tree, and later landed on his head as a middle school high jumper. Chiropractic care was part of his recovery experiences and helped shape his interest in caring for injured patients. His approach includes Thompson Technique, Activator Methods®, and Diversified Technique.
